A winning work at the Broadcast & Culture Fund Contest. The reportage film of the mother-to-child infection of AIDS in Thailand and India. Over half of mothers and their children appeared in this film were already dead.Some of the villages I visited disappeared. When I was filming in close-up a three-month baby with congenital AIDS, she suddenly threw me a look like one of Buddha. I heard that she died soon after. I'can never forget her look. |
